I was looking at the standard price of SC2 and it stuck me as being quite expensive. So I checked the price on amazon:

59.95 U.S. dollars is the standard amazon price.

Our recomended retail price is:

92.32 U.S. dollars

This is a bit of a outrage and I am shocked no one has seen it yet and made a fuss. Its cheaper to order then import from the states then it is to walk into a store and just buy the game. For the record our advage price on games is:

65 - 70 U.S. dollars

Ofcause blizzard will want to make sure we get a value added expereance with payed content like DLC units and missions. Also as these expansions are stand alone each box will retail the same making that if you buy all 3 you basicly would get 4 normal priced games.

There are some signs that Blizzard is going to give the SC2 its own authentication server so that when Battlenet is down for maintenance SC2 players can still authenicate their game so they can play solo game offline. You must log in, authenticate your game then you can leave battlenet and play it offline as long as you don't close the game. If you do, you must once again log in online to prove you have the right to play the game.

As for the cost, I find 60 dollars excessive for the size of the game.  There is no way I would pay 100 for it sheesh.

Well I managed to get it a bit cheaper as I forgot I had pre-ordered it back in 2007. But its still much more than a normal PC game. . Heck I ordered the Elemental: War of Magic collectors edition online and its coming from overseas and its still cheaper than what SC2 was.

Also us SEA ( South east asia ) players are stuck with other SEA players when only really NZ and AUS have english as their primary language. Still its not hard to learn koreian in SC2. GOGOOGOGOGOGOG and KEKEKKEKEKEKKE is all you need to know.

Hidden in on a facebook page, at the bottom of a well, written in small print, Blizzard said they might give SEA players the ablitiy to switch to US servers in about 60 days.
